I'm currently sitting here looking like a living zombie, feeling all down and worn out as well. The only sound I can hear is the list of John Denver' country songs being played on my PC which is very unusual of me as most of my songs are usually "noisy".

Music is the way I express my emotions...

Because of the preparation for today's exam, I've also only managed 1 hour of sleep last night and now I'm really feeling the effects on the whole of my body. My brain had permanently shut down the moment I exited the exam hall this morning and I'm quite amaze that I'm still awake until now.

I am only hanging on now, hanging on to something which I myself am not certain of...

I've finally completed my college studies and will be looking to get a job now. I just felt sad leaving college and really gonna miss everything about being a college student. Gonna really miss the joy of playing basketball and competitions held there as well.

My greatest regret now was not getting to know you better when I had the chance...

The Calling

The Calling is one of my all time favorite bands and adding their songs to the playlist on repeat never seem to get me bored as well. The reason that I like the band is totally not because of the name of the lead singer whom is also called Alex, but because his voice is very nice ,their song are just very nice and the songs are just so nice......... and love the meanings that the songs bring.

Few of my favorites...

If I could...

Then I would...

I'll go wherever you will go...

Way up high...
Or down low...

I'll go wherever you will go...

My Twin?

My brother's girlfriend just found something interesting in the Sin Chew Daily newspaper dated 18th April 2009. It was at the Sin Chew Entertainment section where she saw and pointed out somebody who looks pretty much like me. I don't really know who the hell is he but it seems he is a Hong Kong singer and his name is Juno Mak.

Now, I've tried my best to imitate him so pals, you'll be the judge...

Juno Mak : Alex Eng

So what do you think? Looks like my elder twin? @.@

Its the same scoreline again

I've just witness another pulsating football match again. Previously, it was the Champions League quarter final 2nd leg between Chelsea and Liverpool which ended 4-4. This time, it was thanks to Liverpool (again) and Arsenal in the English Premier League, producing the best match of the season yet and probably even one of the greatest EPL matches of all time.

I'd just finish badminton and was feeling hungry so I decided to watch the match at McDonald's at 3am. Now, I did not only got a large set of Big Mac but I was served a goal fest from the football match as well. So the first half was okay with Arsenal taking a 1-0 scoreline into the second half thanks to Arshavin but things started to get interesting after that.

Liverpool fought hard to score two goals after 4 minutes of the restart and Arsenal looked down and out. However, Arshavin had other ideas as he popped up to score another two goals in the space of three minutes. I was certainly screaming out loud with the joy of seeing Liverpool losing 3 points but then came Fernando Torres who somehow manage to score goal to make it 3-3. in the 72nd minute. By now, Liverpool were in control of the match with the home fans urging them on, they were pressing Arsenal into their own box until the 90th minute. From a resulting Liverpool corner, Arsenal broke and Liverpool were caught on the counter attack by the pacy Theo Walcott who race down the field and then passes the ball off to none other then Arshavin who then scores his 4th goal of the match. Everyone was screaming in McDonalds but it wasn't over yet, Liverpool pressed on and manage to equalise just 2 minutes later which sends all the Liverpool supporters in McDonalds out of their seats screaming and jumping like they just won the league. I guess poor Arshavin must be thinking how did he score 4 goals and not win the match.

Lukasz Fabianski does his best to keep out Yossi Benayoun's header

Fernando Torres shows his delight at scoring his second of the night

Shhh... Andrei Arshavin celebrates one of his four strikes at Anfield

Liverpool hopefuls still hoping to end their 20 years league title drought

From this 4-4 draw, Liverpool's title hopes would have taken a huge dent but in contrast, it will be good news for Chelsea as they can close the gap between them and Liverpool to just 1 point if they win. Manchester United will be playing as well so I just hope they drop points so that Chelsea could at least get nearer to the top. (I want them to win the title!!!)

Finally, I gotta say it was just amazing to watch this Liverpool vs Arsenal match and will probably watch the reply later today as well. So folks, if you still think football is boring, think again...

Latest Transformers 2 HD preview footage

Here is the latest preview cut for the Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen movie thanks to movie director Michael Bay.

The year of the MPVs

Wookie, our local car industry is getting pretty busy now!!! As you may know, our largest local car manufacturer Proton has just launched the new Proton MPV, the Exora just a week ago. And now, our 2nd local car manufacturer, which is Perodua will also be reveiling its own MPV in a couple of months time which is going to be very interesting.

I still remembered what Jeremy Clarkson from TopGear UK commented about our local car industry.

"We don't know what Malaysian motorists did to upset the gods, but it must have been pretty serious"
.

A very nice way to put it and I gotta say, I totally agree with him on that as most Malaysians can only afford a Proton which are probably cars made by cavemen. Another example would be the imported Toyota Vios which if I'm not mistaken, is solely used as a cab in Indonesia, but here, we Malaysian's adore it very much. What's more, at Rm70k, you'll only get an ill equipped J Spec Vios!!! People outside are just laughing at us!!!

ahhh... the thumbs up that we have come to familiarize ourselves with during the launch of every new model

So now, it seems our car industry is finally heading into the right direction again as both local manufacturers try to compete in the market which is a very healthy sign for things to come. Well, at least that's what they say, competition drives improvements. With that, we have already seen Proton's improvements with the launching of the MPV. If you haven't seen the Exora yet, I have uploaded a video of the official launch held last week for your viewing pleasure. (noticed how Proton director Dato Syed Zainal gave an excellent speech)

Note of caution here: You might want to skip the part where the guy sings, I find it very irritating...

Now that you have watched the Exora, I also have some nice information about the new Perodua MPV codenamed D64T. Just like what Perodua always does with their models, this MPV will be base on Toyota's Passo Sette and the Daihatsu's Boon Luminas. (Passo is also equivalent to Myvi, so could this be called Myvi Besar?) Words is that it will be smaller than the Exora and will be powered by a 1.5 liter engine while pricing will be around Rm56k and RM65k. This all means it will be competing in the smaller category of MPVs and not in the Exora or big boys range.

This video below shows a disguised Perodua MPV doing some road test on Malaysian roads and you will get to see how big the car is in comparison to a Wira and Viva.

A look at the front of the Perodua MPV

Interior with two tone design

Personally, I think the Perodua MPV looks okay but still, I ain't a fan of Perodua's and I ain't gonna get a MPV as well so all the best to them in selling this car. Finally, all my interest now is in the Satria Neo CPS and a second hand Satria GTI, whichever one fits the budget of course.

Just another day

It's 4.25am in the morning here and I'm not really sure of the reasons to why am I still awake. It was a long day, with only 5 hours of sleep and most of my energy spent on basketball in the evening, I still had time to head over to Sunway Piramid late in the night just to hang out and watch some football. It was Chelsea versus Arsenal in the semi finals of the FA Cup and I was pretty happy after the match as Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-1 to reach the finals. Then, I had to endure a very sleepy drive all the way back to Kajang again with only my pals voice and the radio music keeping me awake. So here I am after a tiring day, still awake and sitting in front of the computer like I usually do at night.

I really miss someone right now but I can't really do anything about it as it is the busy final exams period so all I can do now is wait. I just wanna wish all the best and good luck to her in her exams.

Anyway, yesterday my mom had shown a video to me from Youtube. Yeapz, my mom!!! Pretty "in" right? It was an amazing Ballet performance, my jaw was pratically lying on the desk while watching this video which is why I would like to share it here...

Did you see how she stood on the guys shoulders with only her toes on a single foot? and the later part just looked humanly impossible to perform but you have to see it to believe it... Outstanding stuff!!!

Why...?

Of all days, why...?

From out of nowhere...

...have "you" decided to appear in my dreams?

It was the last thing that I wanted to happen before I leave...

Proton Exora

picture from paultan.org

I've just went over to Paul Tan's blog and the headline there was that the long awaited Proton MPV, now known as the Exora will be launched tonight (Wednesday, 15th April). As far as I know, this MPV will be a huge 7 seater around the size of a Toyota Wish or Mitsubishi Grandis powered by our very own CAMPRO CPS (Cepat Pergi Sikit?) engine and prices are below RM80k which I think could sell pretty well considering people are now looking for family vehicles with a cheaper price.

From what I've found out, this new Proton big baby will be launch by our newly crowned Prime Minister Najib Razak at 8pm tonight in KL Convention Center. So if you want to know more, do check on any news from TV or Internet to see if there are any launch ceremony of sorts showed or you can just drop by at Paul Tan's blog at 10.30pm where he will unveil plenty of juicy details on the new Proton Exora. (Well, that's what he said anyway)

Lastly, Paul Tan was also given a test drive on the Exora about a month ago so if you would like to know how the car feels, head over to Paul Tan's site again!!! (Damn, I sound like I'm promoting that site now)

Now looks what I've found...

A fully undisguised Proton Exora :D

Chelsea's CL Quarter-Finals 2nd Leg

It's the Champions League night again where all football fans stay up late or wake up in the middle of the night just to support their favorite team. Well, I stayed up even though I was pretty sleepy from having too much of sleep however, I did only manage to watch about 20 minutes of the match from my PC due to the freaking lousy internet and the streaming video provided online. I should have gone home to watch it. Damnit...

"Chelsea withstand stunning Liverpool surge"

All I can say is, I missed one hell of an amazing match. As Chelsea was leading 3-1 from the 1st leg, Liverpool aim was to score at least 2 more goals than Chelsea in this 2nd leg at Stamford Bridge and that was exactly what Liverpool did after just 30 minutes played, they managed to score 2 goals which could spark an amazing comeback going into the second half.

Fabio Aurelio delights in his opening goal

Xabi Alonso celebrates after his penalty drew the aggregate back to 3-3

2nd half started and Chelsea opened their scoring in the 51st minute from a cross from Anelka which Drogba met but it was largely thanks to Liverpool goalkeeper Reina who somehow "saved" the ball into his own net. Chelsea's second came 6 minutes later, a powerful drive from Alex's (Yea, brazilian Alex, not me) freekick. 76th minute, Lampard scored another to put Chelsea 3-2 up and 6-3 on aggregate. Now, Liverpool is surely dead and buried you think, but NO, Liverpool fought back again and scored two goals in the space of 2 minutes in the 81st and 83rd minute through a Lucas's deflected shot and Kuyt's header. Chelsea lead 6-5 on aggregate, one more goal and Liverpool would be through but instead that went to Chelsea and the inspirational Lampard in the 89th minute. A goal that ensures Chelsea go through and do not fall to yet another one of Liverpool's amazing comebacks.

Drogba turned the tide 6 minutes into the second half

Alex (bald) celebrates his goal with Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack

It was one of those amazing European nights again and I just thank god Chelsea has gone through after being so close to elimination. In the night's other match, Barcelona goes through to the semis as well with a 1-1 draw away to Bayern Munich at the Alliance arena in Munich, Germany which now means Chelsea will be facing them, the best attacking team in the world I would say. So now, can Chelsea stop Barca's attacking trio of Theirry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi?

3OH!3 - Don't Trust Me

A nice song from 3Oh!3 (or 303). Don't know the meaning though, just love the music...

Black dress with the tights underneath,
I got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth,
And shes an actress (actress),
But she ain't got no need.
Shes got money from her parents in a trust fund back east.
T-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks,
While my tongue is on the inside of some other girls teeth,
T-tell your boyfriend if he says hes got beef,
That I'm a vegetarian and I ain't fucking scared of him.

She wants to touch me (Woah),
She wants to love me (Woah),
She'll never leave me (Woah, woah, oh, oh),
Don't trust a hoe,
Never trust a hoe,
Won't trust a hoe,
'Cause a hoe won't trust me.

X's on the back of your hands,
Wash them in the bathroom to drink like the bands.
And your setlist (setlist),
You stole off the stage,
Had red and purple lipstick all over the page.
B-b-b-bruises cover your arms,
Shaking in the fingers with the bottle in your palm.
And the best is (best is),
No one knows who you are,
Just another girl alone at the bar.

She wants to touch me (Woah),
She wants to love me (Woah),
She'll never leave me (Woah, woah, oh, oh),
Don't trust a hoe,
Never trust a hoe,
Won't trust a hoe,
'Cause a hoe won't trust me.

Shush girl shut your lips,
Do the Hellen Keller and talk with your hips.
I said, Shush girl shut your lips,
Do the Hellen Keller and talk with your hips.
I said, Shush girl shut your lips,
Do the Hellen Keller and talk with your hips.

Woah, woah, woah...

She wants to touch me (Woah),
She wants to love me (Woah),
She'll never leave me (Woah, woah, oh, oh),
Don't trust a hoe,
Never trust a hoe,
Won't trust a hoe,
'Cause a hoe won't trust me

Chelsea's CL Quarter-Finals 1st Leg

"Liverpool have fallen to Chelsea 3-1 at Anfield, thanks to an Ivanovic brace and a Drogba nail to the coffin!"

This is the headline shown on ESPNstar.com as the Champions League night comes to a close. It was a great night as many believed Liverpool in its current form, trashing Real Madrid and Manchester United along the way would be the favourites playing at home today. As Chelsea has also lost 2 league matches to Liverpool this season, it looked all the more likely that the Reds would ease pass the Blues.

However, the match played out was a different story altogether. Although Liverpool started off well with a Torres goal just 6 minutes into the match, Chelsea settled down and looked the better team throughout the 90 minutes played. Chelsea's unlikely hero, Branislav Ivanovic, a Serbian defender, scored a brace from two corners and "The Drog" then put the icing on the cake as Liverpool wondered how on earth did they get hammered at Anfield.

Ivanovic scores his first Chelsea goal...

...and claims his second in similar style

Didier Drogba's excellent performance is rewarded with a goal

With the 3-1 away scoreline to take back to Stamford Bridge for the 2nd leg, Chelsea looked to have set a foot into the semi-finals and it would be a mountain of a task if Liverpool would want to advance to the next stage.

The likely opposition for the winners of this match-up will be mighty Barcelona who trashed the wanting Bayern Munich with a 4-0 half time and full time scoreline at home.
so Chelsea versus Barcelona in the semis?

Lionel Messi and Barca destroys Bayern

IMU all in one

I wanted to post this but I couldn't get the pics in any way possible out of my old w800 phone. N81 has been sent back for repair AGAIN!!!

So last Saturday I went to IMU (International Medical University) at Bukit Jalil to give my friend Qi Zheng a lil basketball practice as he has this 3 on 3 competition coming up the following week at his U. He also invited his teammates which also consist of a girl. Her name was Yen Ming and was very sharp at shooting, almost 75% of her shots went in!!! I remembered her name very well actually as one of my friend's name was Ming Yen so I just needed to turn it around and walaaahhh... there's her name!!!

Neway, we started off playing somewhere (I don't know where) in IMU which is a volleyball court with spoiled basketball rims and we managed to play for like 2 hours until we can move to the MAIN court. Now, I found out that IMU has one basketball court, one volleyball court and one futsal court. Still not bad right? But the thing is, this three courts are combined together!!! FREAKIN ALL IN ONE!!! That was why we need to wait because the volleyball team was having a friendly!!! I guess the U was not expecting their students or future doctors to be that active in sports?

However, it was great playing at the main court. The rim was very nice, plasticky and springy feeling to it, bit similar to what you see in the NBA. A very nice feeling to make a few baskets there.

Me shooting and making the basket!!! made shot pic later...

Qi Zheng with his "kai hua" shooting posture!!! lolz...

John here looks like he is going for a swim?

All in all, I had a great time there and I would say it was time well spent. (very free now) Only setback was I had another slight sunburn and my arms are getting uglier now :(

Me making the basket!!! :D

Gunpla

First of all, "Gunpla", derived from the phrase "GUNDAM plastic models", commonly refers to the practice of building Gundam models. "What are Gundams?" You ask. Well, Gundams are huge human driven mechanical robots used for war but don't worry, its only found in animes and not something you would see flying around outside your window.

So, collecting these Gundam models has been one of my hobbies lately as I am a huge fan of Gundams. I've been following the current Gundam anime which is the OO series (or double O) which has ended this week and the models in the series are pretty awesome. Thus, I have already bought 3 HG (High Grade) 1/144 scale models (larger scale is 1/100 and 1/60) and there are still plenty more to get. Here are some blur shots of my lousy posers...

Arios and OO-Raiser Gundam (don't know what's the lil one in the middle called)

Arios and OO-Raiser Gundam (side)

O-Raiser (plane) attached to OO-Gundam's back

I'm still gonna get a few models like Cherudim, Seravee and probably the old Nadleeh and Trans-Arm-ed Exia Gundam. Not to forget, there are also models from the other series. Damn I'm gonna be broke.

Finally, I just found a new release from Bandai which looks really awesome and I'm definately gonna get this as well. (Damn you money sucking Bandai)

It's the (freaking long) HG 1/144 Gundam OO Trans-Arm Raiser Gloss Injection Version!!!

This will probably cost me around RM90 I guess. Gonna be really broke now... sobs...

Hello April!!! Bye Bye Assignments!!!

It's 1st of April and its that time of the year again... so if you've been played or fooled then I've gotta sympathize with you but no doubt I'm gonna be laughing and saying this right at your face...

HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL!!!

So I've managed to scrap through this tough week which I finished doing all 3 of my remaining assignments. I have been "overclocking" my brain and did not have a whole lot of sleeping time for the whole of the last 3 days from Sunday to Tuesday which now I think I'm having a slight brain damage as an after effect. I can't really do much thinking with it and my thoughts are pretty much messed up inside.

Here is what I did:
Friday : Worked my socks off in the gym and did assignments at night. Slept at 2am.

Saturday : Woke up at 6.30am for the MapCu basketball thingy at Metropolitan. Came back in the afternoon, did assignments and went back Kajang at 9pm. Did some stuffs, slept at 2am.

Sunday : Woke up at 7.30am to go pray for my ancestors (Qing Ming). Came back Nilai in the afternoon. Did assignments until...

Monday : 5am... Had a break, ate supper and "brain damage" kicks in so decides to sleep (6.30am). Woke up at 8.30am, did assignments and finished 1 at 5pm. Relaxed and slept from 8pm till...

Tuesday : 2am... Starts to do assignment again. Supper at 5am, "brain damage" again and slept at 6.30am. Woke up at 8.30am, did and finished assignments at 2pm. Ate and went to basketball at 5.30pm. 8.30pm watched HK drama and went out to play Left4Dead with friends until 3.30am. Sleep till 2pm the next day...

Oh well, I'm just relieved that I've completed all my assignments and won't be seeing any of it anymore. I've also missed one and a half weeks worth of class due to the assignments (excuses...) so gonna be attending this Friday's class. (feeling lazy here...)

As for now, I'm EXTREMELY free with nothing much to do but wait for my final exam in two weeks time. So... if any of you would like to date me, feel free to ask me out!!! haha...
