A visit from Chelsea

Chelsea came to Malaysia and no doubt I was going to be there watching them and seeing the real thing.

I got my rm83 ticket on the day before the match was held and thank god it hasn't sold out.

I left home around 6pm and it took me two and a half hours to get to Shah Alam Stadium due to the terrible jam. While we were on the highway, I noticed a lot of cars was heading there as well as the driver and the passengers were wearing their beloved Chelsea jerseys like me.

If we had gone a lil bit later we could have missed the start of the match. Lucky for us, we arrived there at 8.30pm and finding a car park was easy. The next 15 minutes was the worst because the entrance was closed while thousand of people are waiting to enter so me and Ivan had had to squeeze our way into the stadium when the entrance finally opened.



Now the excitement starts!!! We entered the stadium just on time as both team was ready for kickoff. The stadium was almost full, the crowd was crazy and Captain John Terry, Petr Cech with his striking orange jersey, and the other big names footballer I usually see on TV was right in front of my naked eyes. It was totally awesome!



Finally, the match ended in a 2-0 score line in the favor of Chelsea and the man of the match went to Frank Lampard. But still I wasn't satisfied, so I decided to run on to the pitch to at least get a picture with someone but the guardsmen were already standing in front so I had no choice but to sit back.

As the players went back to the dressing room, me and Ivan went out to send them away in their buses and I got to see Luiz Phillip Scolari waving at my way and also Deco who was just right in front of me. AMAZING!!! Too bad I did not get to take a photo of them but I do have something. Check it out...

At the end of the day, it was a great experience and I would love to see them play again.

Chelsea is doing a pre-season tour of Asia this summer with visits to Guangzhou, Macau and finally Malaysia. Here are the highlights...

Guangzhou Pharmaceutical vs Chelsea

New Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's first match in charge of the Blues was great with the 4-0 final score reflecting the whole match. The goals came from Solomon Kalou, Argentina teenager Di Santo, Wright-Philips and a superd chip from super Frank Lampard.

P/S: I just love the way these South American commentators do it when a person scores a goal. GOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

Chengdu Blades vs Chelsea

Chelsea dazzled in this romp with 7 goals each coming from Anelka, Kalou, Lampard, Di Santo, Shaun Wright-Philips, and a brace from Joe Cole. The goal of the match would definately go to Cole with his exquisite close-range backheel drag from Essien's low near post cross.

Malaysia Select XI vs Chelsea

Alrighty, Malaysian Select backed by millions of home supporter put up a good fight but still the quality was the difference in this game. There were a few chances for the Malaysians to score but the quality wasn't there and a goal each from Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole was enough for the win.

Unique X tribute

Unique-X is basically a dance club and was formed in March 2006 and has been recruiting dancers and performers. The club has been doing performances in and outside NUC. Some of the performances are at street parties, orientations, CLS nights and a few others bigger events such as Masquerade Ball and Prom nights. The biggest achievement of Unique-X would be getting the 1st runner up in the Taylors InterCollege dance competition held in 2006 followed by the following year where the club got 2nd runner up.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

This blog is under construction now. It is has a very boring feel to it using the given template and color scheme. I have got an idea and I like it very much but the problem now is am I able to apply it here. I'm pretty much new to blogging and I do not know anything about web designing. In this case, I'm trying my best, with the help of me best friend to hopefully accomplish this task.

4th Generation Honda City

Here is something for those who are interested in cars to get excited about. I'm a regular visitor to Paultan's blog and I just saw a post which shows the 4th generation Honda City.






























These are the photos of the computer generated City that will be launching soon in India. It was taken from this month's issue of Autocar India and as you can see is an estimate launch date in which is November this year.

Based on what I've read from Paultan's blog, we can estimate an early 2009 launch of this very new City in our local shores. But the bad news is, Honda have discontinued the i-DSI engine which offers better fuel consumption, as an alternative, Honda is offering a 1.3 and 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine to choose from. Well, we have to wait till it launches first then only we can do the judgement.

Okay, so this is the first entry for my new blog. I don't really know what's the purpose of this blog actually but I just felt bored and wanted to share somethings with others so this idea came up. Well, it's just a whatever blog so if you're bored or anything, this might be the place to be...
