Earthquake!

Okay, this is not the first time I have felt an after shock from an earthquake from the neighboring countries, more oftenly, Indonesia. I'm actually writing this as I experienced the trembling of my house just minutes ago and which ermmm... actually made my internet lag as well. So with a little research on the internet after that, I found out that it really was an earthquake which happened in Simuelue, Indonesia.

I don't really know how to describe it but it was definitely scary as I was able to feel 2 aftershocks and the bare sight of my monitor moving back and forth does not help a bit either. Well, I'm actually living on a house which was build on a few pillars below which I don't think is strong enough to hold any major trembling if it does happen. I'm no engineer but the pillars doesn't look solid at all. Anyway, its not that my house is super tall or anything but it does dish out quite a bit of a shake if your actually in the house.

Remember when a 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck Sumatra in September of last year, I was able to feel it and the worst part was seeing the alter banging softly against the wall. That was pretty sick and I actually ran out of the house with my dad just to be safe.

Anyhow, knowing and feeling an earthquake wasn't the best experience. With such slight tremble, it already sent a chill down my spine, I wouldn't want to imagine what's it like being over there in Indonesia. I certainly hope its nothing serious.

One more thing, I always thought CNN had like very updated and the very latest on world happenings but I kept searching and there wasn't any news which almost led to me thinking that it was just me and I'm just being too tired and I really need to go to bed since its 6am in the morning. Not giving up, I googled "asia earthquake" and I got a result from one U.S Geological Survey which showed exactly this...

As we know, there are loads of earthquake happening these days, Malaysia had one small one which really was a huge surprised at it has never happened before, just a few days ago there was one over at Mexico, and now Indonesia again. So, is the world really coming to an end?

Anyway, I do seriously hope nothing catastrophic is going to happen over there and I wish that everyone over there is in good condition.
