Hiddink and Chelsea lift FA Cup trophy

... and the FA Cup winner goes to...

CHELSEA CHELSEA!!! CHELSEA CHELSEA!!!

That's right, Chelsea have won the English FA Cup which finally ends Chelsea's barren run of 2 years without a trophy since Jose Mourinho left.

Chelsea, still feeling and suffering from the Champions League heartbreak to eventual winner's Barcelona, did not had the best of starts to the match. With Everton kicking off the match, they had the ball deep into Chelsea's half and with only 26 seconds gone, Everton had opened the scoring thanks to a former Man United player, Louis Saha who drove a sweet left foot volley into the back of the net. It was the quickest goal in the 128-year history of the FA Cup final. But Chelsea, under Guus Hiddink for the last time before he returns to his role as Russia coach, battled back, though, and claimed the throphy for the second time in three years with a goal in either half.

The first came when Malouda, so often skinning the ineffective Hibbert on the left, crossed in a ball which Drogba meet with his head and into the back of the net. It was 5 defenders against 1 attacker in the box and full marks to The Drog as he managed to work some space and attack the ball so beautifully.

Frank Lampard rejoices after scoring the winning goal

After the interval, Chelsea completed the turnaround when Lampard thumped in a left footed shoot from 20 meters after a superd individual skill by shot faking the incoming Phil Neville and shifting the ball to his left before letting go the winning shot.

Guus Hiddink lifting the FA Cup trophy

It was Guus Hiddink's last match in charge after doing a fabulous job in turning an almost fading season into something special in just three months, guiding Chelsea so close to the Champions League final by losing only to circumstances not relating to football and pushing Man United all the way in the league title so winning the FA Cup was also the perfect sending-off for him from the Chelsea players.

Guus Hiddink celebrating with the Chelsea players

Subsequently, this marks the ending of the 08/09 footballing season with the FA Cup trophy deposited in Chelsea's cabinet. So what's next for the following season? What we know now is that Chelsea will have a new manager, probably AC Milan's Carlo Ancelotti who has two Champions League winner medal in his CV. Besides, Roman Abromovich is also promising to splash his cash on rebuilding the Chelsea squad which could see 1 or 2 big names wearing the blue jersey next season.

Michael Ballack, Michael Essien and John Terry with new home 09/10 kit

Lastly and for now at least, let us celebrate the FA Cup triumph and hope that it would be the first of many trophy to come after the successful Mourinho era.

THANKS GUUS!!!

Champions League Final 08/09

Ahhh... the sweet sight of seeing such a disappointing Manchester United side being downed by Barcelona in such a big match. I would love to see the usually cocky faces of the Manchester United supporters after the match...

Anyway...

FC Barcelona has won the Champions League in Rome beating defending champions Manchester United by two goals to nail in what is believed to be a one sided affair. Going into this match, Manchester United had the chance to be the only club to win back to back Champions League title and Barcelona on the other hand could record a historic treble (winning three titles) for the season.

Samuel Eto'o wheels away in delight after giving Barcelona an early lead in Rome

In all honesty, Manchester United started off well but after the 10th minute goal by Samuel Eto'o, they just looked out of sorts and disappointing. It was a Barcelona fast break which broke the dead lock as Andreas Iniesta, who ran down the field set Samuel Eto'o up with a through ball. Then skillfully, from the right side, Eto'o managed to cut inside Vidic and fire a low shot which Van Der Sar only managed to touch but couldn't keep the ball out of the net. United's almost arrogant-control of the match slowly but surely evaporated, eventually to disappear altogether.

Lionel Messi celebrates after scoring Barcelona's second goal at the Stadio Olimpico

As Manchester United push forward to get an equalizer in the second half, the back was expose once again in the 70th minute when Xavi's pin point cross reach the head of Lionel Messi who guided the ball with his head pass the rotted Van Der Sar. 2-0 the scoreline and United just did not have any answers for Barcelona. The United players not only did not get going on the offensive end but where also made to chase the ball round the field by the classy Barca players. Now, how often do we get to see that? Manchester United were just awful.

Barcelona pose with the trophy

Lionel Messi leads the Barcelona celebrations

I would say the lost was down to Sir Alex Feguson's lousy tactics and also the players that did not show up. But credits to Barcelona as well, they played their usual breath taking football and United just couldn't handle them.

Josep Guardiola enjoys the triumph in Rome

One man not to forget is the manager of Barcelona, Josep Guardiola, who's previously a captain of a Barcelona side which have also won the Champions League, is only in his first season in charge of Barcelona and at the age of 37, he is the 3rd youngest manager to guide a team to Champions League glory. Besides, Barcelona this season has also won the Spanish League and Cup which marks an outstanding season for the Spanish side. This team should also be rated by the history books as one of the truly great sides of European football.

No arguments can be made, they deserved it.

Terminator Salvation

I've just watched Terminator Salvation on its premier thanks to Ah Liang and his girlfriend. I'm not gonna reveal much about the movie as later you might think its a spoiler so I'll just make it short.

I would say the movie has been over hyped. It wasn't one of the best movies of the year and it was just okay for me. The selling point of this movie would probably only be its action scenes, that's all. However, there was a surprise when a young and naked T-800 Arnold Schwarzenegger turned up. lolz. As for characters, they were all pretty boring. So, I would recommend this movie but piece of advice is, do not have high expectations for it.

Arche Gundam

I've just got my hands on the newly released HG 1/144 scale Arche Gundam from the 00 Gundam series which is my 8th Gunpla model. It cost me 72 bucks which is bit pricey but its a cool model so I guess its okay.

And as usual, it took me about 3 hours to assemble the model...

Above is the head and the upper body which took me about 20 minutes to assemble.

Now, one of the two most boring thing about assembling a gunpla model, the arms. It took me another 30 minutes...

Next up, the legs (another boring process) and the lower body. There were many lil bit and pieces and joints in it for better articulations. On the assembling part, it also means more time consuming and 1 hours was the time being used.

There are also the accessories such as weapons, shields etc. which took me another 45 minutes. Finally, the end product looks pretty awesome with only the color being my issue because its supposed to be a badass Gundam but now it looks pinkish and feminine.

P/S: Just click the picture if you wanna have a more detailed look.

That's probably all... Out

Going "GaGa" over Lady GaGa

I've just managed to get my hands on Lady GaGa's album, The Fame. I would like to recommend this album mainly because I think the album has some nice songs and awesome beats in it that makes you wanna jump out of your seats and move your body every time you listen to it. You would probably have already heard of Just Dance and Poker Face which both I would categories as "I'll never get bored of it" songs. Then, you should also check out Lovegame, Paparazzi, Beautiful Dirty Rich, I Like It Rough and also one particular song that wasn't found in the album, Starstruck which you could probably download it from the internet.

Although her songs are nice, I don't really like her music videos because she just looks crazily weird and funny doing her stuff in it. I also heard she was formerly a pornstar. Besides, Lady GaGa is also getting lots of headlines from her outrageous fashionon sense.

X Marks the Nipples

Now lets see. Bowed up hair, sunglasses at night, a Nikon camera and most importantly, showing off her tapped up nipples by wearing a sheer blouse. hmm...

Next...

Let's have some tea

Okay, a pretty preposterous outfit. But the point here is, she walked down the street in London holding her cup of tea. hmm...

Harlem Globetrotters coming to town!

The original Harlem Globetrotters is coming to Malaysia!!! I was never aware of it until I saw the advertisement on TV this evening.

Here's whats the Globetrotters is all about...

The Harlem Globetrotters are an exhibition basketball team that combines athleticism and comedy. The Globetrotters were created in 1926 in Chicago and have since then played more than 22,000 games in 118 countries with having lost only three matches in their entire history.

Apart from the exhibition game, the Globetrotters’ acts feature incredible coordination and skilful handling of one or more basketballs, such as passing or juggling balls between players, balancing or spinning balls on their fingertips, and making unusual, difficult shots. The whole event is about fun and interaction with the audience, therefore being a truly memorable show for the entire family.

Now, they will be performing LIVE in Stadium Shah Alam on the 20th of May which is only 5 days away so anyone wanting to watch them do their thang will need to hurry up and buy the tickets now.

As for the ticket prices, the above diagram shows the seating zones as well as the pricing for it. First of all, red zone which is the nearest you can get to the players will cost you Rm203, then its the green zone at Rm153 and the blue zone at RM83.

Damn, I've already spent a lot and now going to watch them will definitely be needing me to dig up every single penny that's left with me but one things for sure, there's gonna be one hell of a show with plenty of fun and excitement. :)

So, who's in with me???

A cold night. Finally!!!

Finally, after enduring such long spells of hot weather, it rained not only once but twice now. I would describe previous days as a privilege of just sitting around sweating without needing to exercise. And sitting in front of my PC is what I did almost everyday. By staring at my monitor for long periods, I think my eyes has turned squarish as well, however, there's good news!!! Just found out I put on a kg :D

I've been wanting to find a job now since I've completed my studies but my body is still in a lazy mood. But I'm pretty motivated to get a job asap as it would then enable me to get myself a car to drive around :) Well, I ain't a public transport person if that's what you want to know.

Wow, its gonna feel so good sleeping now. With the raining, its gonna be a cold night and I'm feeling so tired after working out (Yeapz, I have the habit of working out late at night cuz then you'll feel so tired and you'll be able to sleep straight away) so that's probably it for now. Ta!

Back from trip

Just came back from my Lang Tengah trip this morning. It was a pretty fun snorkeling around, looking and feeding the different fishes. There was once when I let out a "boom" in the sea and to my amazement the fishes followed closely behind me. One even came on to bite me like I'm some kinda fresh meat, so what I can come out with is that it either likes the smell or is just angry I polluted the sea. lolz.

All in all, it was fun but there was a setback in the end as we tried to make our way back home. Not gonna talk about it cuz it was a long long story which took us 24 hours to get home.

On the other hand, there were also mid week Champions League match on show and I did get to watch it in Lang Tengah. It was the match that could win a ticket for Chelsea to Rome on the 27th May for a replay of last seasons final with Manchester United.

As usual, Barcelona boasted a huge amount of possession of the ball but Chelsea's long ball tactics and superb defending kept it a close match. Then in the 10th minute, Stamford Bridge erupts as a super Essien left footed volley outside the box sends the ball into the roof of the net to put Chelsea in front.

Michael Essien and Frank Lampard are all smiles as Chelsea take an early lead

1-0 the scoreline and Chelsea are looking good to advance into the finals until the 90th minute and 3 added on time. Chelsea where trying to get a second goal with Barcelona down to 10 men from Eric Abidal's sending off but Barcelona piled men forward to attack and were rewarded when Essien's missed a defensive clearance which allowed Barca to move the ball right to the edge of the box where Andres Iniesta powered a first time shot into the back of the net.

Petr Cech cannot keep out Iniesta's 93rd-minute shot

Andres Iniesta celebrates after his dramatic late strike

Florent Malouda despairs at the crushing of Chelsea's UEFA Champions League dream

Barca win 1-1 on away aggregate rule. A devastating way for Chelsea to get knocked out of the competition right at the very last minute which surely hurts the players and the fans... including me.

The Chelsea players suffer semi-final heartache

Now Chelsea only has the FA Cup to play for and hopefully the season will end with some joy.

new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Theatrical Trailer in HD resolution

Wow, I've already posted a few trailers for Transformers 2 but now there is another one. You'll get to watch this video in full HD resolution but the loading might be a bit slow so you might want to pause it until it finishes.

This time round, you will get to see more of the action and you'll roughly get the idea of whats gonna happen in the movie. I'm a real big fan of Transformers so I can't wait for the movie to premier which is about two months away now. This is probably the final trailer but I just can't wait to see Megan Fox in action again as well :)

Opps, the video is a tad too big but well, who cares, as long as it is in HD then I don't mind :P

Its the eye!!!

I was being overly emotional in my previous post which I need to apologize for...

So, I was about to go to bed and was washing up. Then, I started looking at my own eyes and was wondering when can I start going out without depending on my spectacles. The thing is, I totally hate specs and I don't like wearing them. I've tried to wear contact lenses but somehow, I can't seem to get it into my eyes because:
1) My eyelashes are long
2) My eyes are pretty small
3) I can't touch my eyeballs!!!

Okay, the first two was just some stupid excuses but the third one was the big trouble for me. I have some very sensitive eyeballs here and every time I tried to just touch em, my eyes will close automatically.

Looks ugly with the specs right? I KNOW!!!

So now, the next best thing to solve this problem is to go for LASIK surgery which is some kind of advance eye laser procedures that improve vision and eliminate dependency on glasses and contact lenses. My mom has done it before and I only remembered her telling me that during the procedure, you'll only need to look at a red dot and the next thing you know, you're done. As for the price, it'll probably cost me at least Rm5000 for both eyes so I'm gonna start saving for it when I get a job. However, there are still some risk involved in doing this and it scared the hell out of me after I got some information about the possible effects of this surgery which I'm not gonna reveal.

Besides, my mom did it and she is fine now so I'm just gonna stay optimistic about it.

Moments later...

Urghh... I'm still searching for more info and the more I find the more I feel like I'm gonna puke... So that's all for now... Out...

P/S: Gonna start growing my hair again :D
