Pictures of a heavily disguised vehicle which is the soon to be launched Proton MPV has been leaked in the net for a couple of months now. However, most people, including me are still eager to know how does the car look like. So is this going to be the final product? As the picture above reveals the front of the MPV, I certainly hope it is the final product because the front of the car definitely looks delicious. Other noticeable designs that was seen in leaked photos will be the wing mirror signals lights and the use of LED for the rear lights. Now that's a first from Proton and in Proton's car! Paultan's blog already has many spyshots showing the exterior and size of the car but still there are no spyshots of the car's interior.
Personally, I'm not really interested in having this car but still I would just like to know the progress of our biggest national car maker (not a fan of Perodua). Lets say, there is a part in me that wants Proton to do well, but everytime our hope is raised, they disappoint us time and time again. I do understand that the technology and design that Proton possesses is about a decades old, however I still do admire some of Proton's designs and have also heard reviews that Proton cars handling is exceptionally good thanks to the fine tuning of Lotus. Hopefully, with the new management at the helm, Proton would progress and do Malaysians proud.
Finally, my favorite Proton car will be the Satria GTi and Neo. Many do not know there will be a new Satria Neo launching sometime early next year but I'm interested to know that it could well be fitted with a Campro CPS engine along with exterior designs that portraits the GTi. The question now is, could this possibly be the Neo GTi? Too bad, all the hype is on the MPV, thus the upcoming Satria Neo did not receive much attention. Oh well, we'll just have to sit back and wait. Hopefully it will be a gem from Proton.
